Hydrochloric Acid, Pepsin & Herbal Bitters

Each Tablet Provides:

Betaine HCl 648 mg
Pepsin NF (1:10,000) 45 mg

Herbs:
Gentian root (Gentiana lutea) 20 mg

Excipients:
Cellulose, stearic acid (vegetable), silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate (vegetable).

Coating: None.

Recommendations:
1 to 2 tablets after each meal.

Form: 120 Tablet Bottle

Caution: Do not use if there is a prior history of or a current peptic or duodenal ulcer. Do not use in individuals who have a known allergy or hypersensitivity to pork protein.

Maxigest provides betaine HCl, a source of hydrochloric acid which initiates the digestive process, combined with the proteolytic enzyme pepsin (porcine-derived) and gentian root, an herbal bitter traditionally used to support digestion.
